Hot-dip aluminum-zinc-plated steel plate, Galvalume (GL steel plate for short), is a steel plate that is hot-dip coated with an alloy of aluminum (Al55%), zinc (Zn43.5%), and silicon (Si1.5%) on the surface of the steel plate.
Aluminum-zinc-plated products have good heat and oxidation resistance, do not change color for a long time at 300 ℃, and can be used for a long time at about 500 ℃ to 600 ℃, with good resistance to water and soil corrosion. At the same time, it has excellent coating performance and processing performance, strong bonding to organic materials, and is a good substrate for colorful organic coated steel sheets. Its processability and weldability are similar to that of hot-dip galvanized sheet, and it can be processed by cold bending, stamping, etc., and the surface of the sheet is beautiful and pretty.
Mainly used in automobile, printing iron barrel, construction, building materials, bicycle and other industries.
It is also an ideal material for the production of organic coated steel sheets.
